FAULTING

This week in class, we began our disscussion of the deformation of rocks. Learn more by visiting the Southern California Earthquake Center's overview of faults. Begin on page 9. Use the arrows at the bottom of the page to move forward and read through until you come to Activity #7. Click on Dip Slip and Crustal Dimensions, view the animations, and answer questions 1, 2, 3, and 5.

Bring your answers to class with you on Monday, 10/9. Please indicate your lab day on your sheet.
