Sylvia Bozeman is Professor of Mathematics at Spelman College, and has recently become Associate Provost for Science and Mathematics. She received her Ph.D from Emory University in the area of functional analysis. She has served as Vice-President of the National Association of Mathematics, and is a member of the Board of Governors of the MAA. She is currently Project Director of the Center for Scientific Applications of Mathematics at Spelman College, as well as Co-Director of the EDGE Program.
