No, the Harry Potter movie wasn't filmed here. But nobody would blame you for asking. The Marjorie Walter Goodhart Theater's towers and gables, friezes, carving and ornamental ironwork are all distinctly Hogwartsesque, and Bryn Mawr's theater and dance programs have been known to make magic happen — like topping the list of Philadelphia Weekly 's "Best Theatrical Moments of 2001" with a college production. Goodhart is home to all sorts of performing arts at Bryn Mawr. There's a grand, vaulted auditorium for major plays and concerts; two smaller spaces that are ideal for more intimate performances by visiting artists, student-run theater companies and a cappella groups; practice rooms for student musicians; and the Office for the Arts. Oh, and a couple of dusty closets full of apothecary jars labeled "Eye of Newt" and the like.
