"Robots are part of our lives. So the question is, how can we empower students to use robotics, to shape it?"

"And our answer is: we assemble what is probably the best-equipped undergraduate robotics lab in the country. We give students full access to it, and we give them the chance to do graduate-level research, at the cutting edge of the field. One group of our students got a research grant and spent a year designing a robot that only a handful of other labs in the world have built. And finally, we design software and curricula that change the way computing is taught—not just at Bryn Mawr, but around the country."
