Transfer Applicants

Transfer applicants for undergraduate admission must submit:

• The Common Application for Transfer Students
  
• Bryn Mawr Transfer Supplement
  
• All official high school transcripts or GED equivalent (Secondary School Final Report is not required)
  
• All official college transcripts
  
• Two professor recommendations
  
• One dean/academic advisor’s report (College’s Official Report)
  
• Official SAT or ACT scores (test flexible policy is optional for transfers)
  
• TOEFL (if applicable)
  

Interviews are strongly recommended for transfer students. Transfer and McBride applicants can interview until the end of March. Interviews for prospective transfer and McBride students resume May 1.

Deadlines

Transfers for spring 2013: Nov. 7, 2012

Transfers for fall 2013: March 1, 2013 (international students can only apply for fall admission)

Applicants who plan to enter in the fall will be notified by the admissions office in late May. Applicants for entrance in January will be notified in mid-December.

Please know that applications cannot be reviewed until all required pieces are received. Late materials will impact our ability to review and render admissions decisions. Requests for extensions to submit application materials must be submitted in writing to admissions@brynmawr.edu.
