Office of International Programs
Bryn Mawr's Office of International Programs provides advice and assistance to international students about cross-cultural adjustment, U.S. government regulations and local resources. The Office coordinates an orientation program for international students at the beginning of each academic year. In addition, OIP serves as a liaison to U.S. government agencies and international organizations, and it administers Bryn Mawr study-abroad programs.
Office of Intercultural Affairs
The Office of Intercultural Affairs is dedicated to implementing educational and cultural programs that improve campus climate and enhance community life at Bryn Mawr. Through its programs, the office takes a proactive position in helping community members understand how "us" and "them" are defined; how culture and experience shape behavior; and how relationships across differences of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, class and disability are constructed.
Center for International Studies
The Center for International Studies focuses attention on global issues. Bringing together scholars from various fields, the Center supports collaborative, cross-disciplinary research and prepares students for life and work in the highly interdependent world and global economy of the 21st century. A curricular program in international studies enables students to concentrate their academic work on international issues.
Career Development
The Career Development Office for Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges assists students and alumni/ae in their career search process. Among their many services, the office provides one-on-one counseling, resources for internships and on-campus recruitment by employers such as Ford Motor Company, Price Waterhouse Cooper, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Peace Corps, New York City Parks and Recreation, Teach for America.
