Interview Options

An interview is strongly recommended for each applicant, but it’s not required (with the exception of home-schooled students).

January 31 is the final day for interviews for the class of 2017. Interviews for high school Juniors will begin June 3.

Transfer and McBride students can interview until the end of March. Interviews for prospective transfer and McBride students will resume May 1.

There are three interview options available, but you should interview only once:

• On-campus interviews (schedule interview as part of your campus visit)
• Skype
• Interview with an alumna in your area (for first-year applicants only)

 

For first year students, requests for Skype, on-campus, and alumnae interviews must be submitted two weeks prior to the deadline for your admissions plan.

Important Notice for Applicants in China:

Because of the volume of interview requests from China, all interviews with students in China must be conducted by InitialView.*  This service provides the opportunity to talk with an interviewer online.  The conversation will be recorded and reviewed by the Bryn Mawr Admissions Office.

 

We realize there is a cost for this service; please know that interviews are strongly recommended, but not required.
