At Bryn Mawr since: 1995, when I joined the Class of 1999 (B.A.). From 2001-03 I completed my M.S.S. and M.L.S.P. at the social work school, and I joined the admissions staff in 2001.
Favorite book: Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal
Guilty TV pleasure: I’m addicted to anything created/produced by BBC and Masterpiece Theater…especially those focusing on the Regency Era and Victorian Period. I have a little obsession for anything Jane Austen ;)
Favorite place in the world: Florence, Italy
Why Bryn Mawr?
Bryn Mawr is a place where I found my voice and defined myself as a scholar and a person. I did not want four years of perfect experiences and I did not get that at Bryn Mawr. I was challenged and encouraged with each academic and social opportunity. I was not only taught how to think, but how to transform that thinking into action. It was the best the four years of my life; the women I met are my sisters, the faculty and staff are mentors and the College became my home. I credit Bryn Mawr for seeing my potential and greatly influencing me into the professional woman I have become.
