Group Visits

Organizations are welcome to bring a group to campus in order to take a tour and learn about the admissions process at Bryn Mawr College.

Group visits are generally available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.; however, due to campus events and staffing limitations, we may need to consider alternate dates. Please contact us at least two weeks prior to your desired visit date. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

In order to best coordinate your visit, we ask that you follow these guidelines and communicate them to members of your group. Groups that fail to demonstrate respect for our students, faculty, and staff may be asked to conclude their visits earlier than planned and limit future visits.

  • Group ratio: Chaperones will be required to accompany school groups and to maintain appropriate student conduct at all times during the visit. Our typical ratio is one adult to every 10-15 students, but this may vary according to circumstances.
  • Appropriate dress: Campus tours will include a substantial amount of walking. Please encourage all participants to wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
  • Arrival: Arriving on time is important. Please realize that staff and tour guides' schedules are limited; In the event of a late arrival of more than 15 minutes, your visit will likely be modified or canceled.
  • Meals: If your organization is interested in having a meal in the dining hall or elsewhere on campus, we can make recommendations. A buffet-style meal in the dining hall costs, per person, $7.75 for breakfast, $10 for lunch, and $12.25 for dinner.

Cancellation Notice

If you find it necessary to cancel your visit, it is essential that you give at least three days’ notice. Failure to do so may limit future schedule availability for your organization.
