The Alumnae Bulletin welcomes ideas for articles and essays from
volunteer alumnae/i writers. We recommend that you first send to the
editor a short proposal detailing your topic and the points you wish to
make, although we will read drafts and manuscripts as well. Most feature
articles for the Bulletin are scheduled and written roughly a year to six
months before their actual publication; they are generally 1,200 or 2,000
words in length. An editorial committee of alumnae/i who are
publications professionals reviews all submissions and advises the editor
about their development.Please send suggestions and inquiries to:

Class Notes Policy: Class Notes editors are volunteers
elected by their classes and are responsible for the accuracy of the
information they report. They include in their columns the news that
alumnae/i have written on Annual Giving envelopes, which are forwarded to
class editors from the College. Alumnae/i are also encouraged to write
directly to their editors, whose names and addresses are printed in
alternating issues. Alumnae/i who do not want information about them to
be printed should notify the Alumnae Association in writing.

Class Notes for even class years appear in the Spring and Fall issues, odd
years in the Summer and Winter. Obituaries may appear in any issue.

Spring Issue: November 1
If you don't have an address for your class editor, please e-mail Alicia Bessette. We do not list class editors' names or contact information on our site for resons of privacy. They appear at the head of every column in the print version — even year classes in the Spring and Fall issues, odd year classes in the Summer and Winter.
