Cori Ashworth is a career counselor, coach and management consultant, and the founder of Career Continuum located in Amherst, MA. She has more than 20 years of experience guiding clients to strategically develop and build their careers. Having worked with Right Management Associates as an H.R. manager in high tech, and as the former Director of Alumnae Career Services for Mount Holyoke College, she has the breadth and depth to work with the full range of clientele.
Cori's education includes master's degrees in Education (College of William and Mary) and Counseling (University of Massachusetts, Amherst), with advanced training in Career Counseling. In addition, she is expert in the use of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator in careers, team and communications applications; she is also a certified coach who utilizes Positive Psychology principles in her work. Cori consults and trains with the Employers Association of the Northeast, as well as consults with higher education organizations.
Active in her field, Cori holds memberships in the Career Resource Managers Association, Alumnae Career Resources Network; she has presented at the American Association of College and Universities conference, Career Managers Association Conferences, and last summer presented at the Alumni Career Services Network Conference in Lexington, Kentucky; she published in the May 2010 NACE Journal and was included in the Boston Globe Special Career Publication October 2010. In addition, she currently writes an e-newsletter monthly career column for the Anita Borg Institute, an organization dedicated to promoting women in the technology fields.
