Cocktails and Hors d'oeuvres
The Bryn Mawr College Treasurer’s Office along with the Bryn Mawr College Alumnae Association cordially invite you to Wyndham for an evening of networking and fun with current undergraduate students and local alumnae in management and business.
The Alumnae in Management and Business Reception is the culmination of The Bryn Mawr College Certificate in Management Course, an intensive, five-day course designed to immerse students in the basics of management and to expose students to diverse, potential careers available in management and management consulting. The curriculum includes management fundamentals, SWOT analysis, strategic planning, interpersonal assessment, and analysis of case studies led by Wharton School faculty. Students also participate in workshops and panel discussions led by Bryn Mawr alumnae and other management professionals that give them a glimpse into what to expect when it is time to meet with clients, take one’s seat in the boardroom, or carve out a successful path in any organization.
This reception is an integral part of the certificate program and, for some of our students, is the first real opportunity to flex their networking skills. One of the outcomes we are hoping to achieve by the class and this networking event is to educate students on the various careers in management that exist. To be successful we need representatives from all types of organizations—non-profit, government, and for profit firms.
We know our students would benefit greatly from the chance to talk to you about your experience and expertise, and we hope you can join us!
