We're bringing an exciting new video oral history
project to the Black Alumnae/i Conference this year!
Bryn Mawr Stories will interview returning alumnae/i
over the weekend about their experiences both at Bryn
Mawr and in the years after graduating. The video
interviews will be archived as well as edited for use as
featured alumnae/i profiles on the Alumnae Association
website.
We invite you to share your stories about Bryn Mawr and
its influence on your life. You can sign up for an individual
half-hour interview or you can invite a friend to join you
and interview each other.
If you are interested in contributing your memories to
Bryn Mawr Stories, contact Laci Hutto, before the
conference, at lhutto@brynmawr.edu or 610.526.5229

The Black Alumnae/i Conference Committee has been discussing how Black alumnae can leave a lasting
legacy to Bryn Mawr. Our start-up goal is to raise at least $25,000 initially, to fund internships and scholarships for students.
With your gift, we hope to fund internships as early as the summer of 2009. These internships will go to
students who are members of Sisterhood or BACaSO (Bryn Mawr African and Caribbean Students'
Organization). The Fund drive will be discussed in further detail at the Conference.
We hope that some of you will choose to volunteer to work with us on maintaining the Fund and selecting
student recipients.
Members of the Black Alumnae/i Conference Committee have made a donation or pledge to the Fund.
Please join us in leaving a lasting legacy for the next generation of Sisterhood or BACaSO. You can donate
online and specify Black Alumnae Fund under "designation." You can
also mail your donation along with your conference registration materials. If you are not able to attend the
conference, please donate online or mail in the Black Alumnae Fund form. We
encourage you to establish an annual giving amount that you designate for the Black Alumnae Fund.
Thank you in advance for your support of the Black Alumnae Fund Drive.
