MASS TRANSIT:
Bryn Mawr is serviced by SEPTA's R5 Regional Rail Line from
30th Street Station in Philadelphia, with connections to AMTRAK
and the R1 Airport line. Local service between 69th Street Station
and Bryn Mawr Hospital is available via the Rte. 100 light rail line.
Several local taxi services also serve the area for trips locally and to
the city.

CHILD CARE
Child care at the Phebe Anna Thorne School offers two sessions
for potty-trained children ages 3–11 on Saturday and one session
on Sunday. Located just beyond Pen y Groes on Wyndon Road, the
Thorne School is an ideal child-care setting, with a playground
and nursery school facilities. Sessions include structured
activities, games and crafts—all under the supervision of a
director and team of undergraduate students.
Child care at the Thorne School will be available provided a
minimum of five children register for the program. Please make
your reservation early! The Alumnae Association will contact
registered parents about the status. Child care is considered a
"Supplemental Activity" and includes an additional cost.
Session 1: Saturday, 9 am–3:30 pm (includes lunch and snack)
Session 2: Saturday, 5:30–11:30 pm (includes dinner and snack)
Session 3: Sunday, 8–11:30 am (includes breakfast)
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Mary Schlimme Riggio '02, MA '04, is a graduate of the Bryn Mawr psychology program and has a master's degree in clinical developmental psychology from Bryn Mawr. She has more than 10 years of preschool and child-care experience, and also serves as the Camp Director for Reunion.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
- A waiver and emergency form for each child is required at the time of drop-off.
- Parents must sign each child in and out with the Camp Director during the first and last 15 minutes of each session. Please be on time.
- Children must be at least 3 years of age and potty-trained.
- Children with contagious illnesses cannot be left at the camp.
ARRIVAL INFORMATION
Please complete the enclosed reservation form and mail it to the Alumnae Association by Oct. 17 (Sept. 26 for early-bird discount rate) in order to guarantee your place at the conference. Upon arrival, please check-in at Wyndham. A packet of materials will be waiting for each participant who has made a reservation.

International Reservations
Virtual Bryn Mawr requires an English Operating System.

Refunds
Refunds are available before Oct. 20. After that date, preparations
have been made for your arrival and a refund cannot be offered.
Release Agreement
Acknowledgment that each alumna/us has read the information
provided about the Black Alumnae/i Conference and accepts the
risks involved in attending the weekend is required for
participation. Reservations will not be finalized without consent in
either written or electronic format.
