Bryn Mawr, Pa. – The BMC badminton team topped rival Swarthmore 6-3 in NCAA action Thursday night in Schwartz Gymnasium.
The Owls jumped out to an early 2-1 lead as doubles Markie Hill and Simona Radu defeated Kelly/Yiang (21-12, 21-14) as Priscy Pais and Bo Yeon Kim flew by Maani/Zou 21-7, 21-7.
In singles action, Bryn Mawr's #1 and #2 lost to give Swarthmore control of the match. Hill, Pais, Jennifer Huh, and Jeanette Kwon all won their matches to secure the 6-3 win.
The Owls return to action on Saturday, December 1, as they host the Mid Atlantic Juniors in Schwartz Gym. The all day tournament will start at 9:00 a.m.
