ALLEN NETS TEAM-HIGH NINE POINTS ON THE ROAD AT DICKINSON

Carlisle, Pa. – Junior co-captain Jessica Allen scored a team-high nine points and game-high 10 rebounds in a 48-33 loss to the Red Devils.

The Owls battled to a 17-17 tie at the end of the first half only to be outscored 31-16 in second half as they suffered their first conference loss of the year.

In addition to Allen, sophomore Shanika Bridges-King provided eight points and two rebounds as senior co-captain Katie Driscoll tallied eight points and five rebounds.

Bridges-King recorded one block and two steals while four other Owls recorded one steal apiece.

Despite outshooting the Red Devils in the first half 38.9% to 20.7% and for the game (36.6%-34.5%), the Owls made only 34.8% of their shots in the second Half.

The Owls are now 1-2 on the season and 0-1 in conference play. They return to action November 27, when they host Eastern University in Schwartz Gymnasium. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
