Bryn Mawr, Pa. – Senior co-captain Katie Driscoll and junior Julia Harris combined for 27 of Bryn Mawr’s 41 points in a 56-41 Centennial Conference loss to Ursinus Tuesday night.
Driscoll ended the night with 15 points and two steals as Harris finished the game with 12 points, four rebounds, and two steals. Shanika Bridges-King grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds and dished out a team-high 5 assists in addition to her six points.
The Bears took a 24-17 lead into the locker room before outscoring the Owls 32-24 in the second stanza. Ursinus outshot the Bryn Mawr 47.6% to 30.2% as well as scoring 30 points in the paint and capitalizing 16 points on turnovers.
Leading Ursinus was Carolyn Konstanzer with 17 points as Alex Shivers and Sarah Hennessey added 12 and 11, respectively.
The Owls fall to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in conference action as the Bears improve to 2-3 overall and 2-1 in Centennial play. The Owls return to action on Saturday, December 8, as they host Washington (Md.) at 2:00 p.m. in conference action.
