HOOPS FALL SHORT AGAINST SHOREWOMEN 57-49

Bryn Mawr, Pa. – Visiting Washington College upended the Owls 57-49 in Centennial Conference action Saturday afternoon. Three different Owls scored in double digits as Bryn Mawr falls to 2-5 overall and 0-4 in conference play.

Junior co-captain Jessica Allen notched her fifth double-double of the year with 18 points and 12 rebounds in addition to four assist and two blocks. Junior Julia Harris chipped in 13 points and seven rebounds while senior co-captain Katie Driscoll bucketed 10. Sophomore Shanika Bridges-King pulled down a game-high 18 points with twelve coming on the defensive side of the ball. Bridges-King added eight points.

Leading the Shorewomen was Jessica Jamrogowicz with 15 points as Brianne Slizofski and Jane O'Donnell tallied 12 and 10, respectively. Elise Conway had a team-high 11 rebounds.

The Owls return to action on Tuesday, Dec. 11, as they host rival Swarthmore College at 7:00 p.m. in Schwartz Gymnasium.
