DRSICOLL ENDS CAREER WITH GAME-HIGH 12 POINTS AGAINST JOHNS HOPKINS

Bryn Mawr, Pa. – In her final collegiate game, senior co-captain Katie Driscoll, scored a game-high 12 points as the Owls lost to visiting Johns Hopkins, 49-65, Wednesday night.

Both teams got off to a slow start shooting as the game was tied-up at 5 with 15:00 remaining on the clock. A jumper by Hopkins' Jenna Berninger broke the tie at 13:28. The basket sparked 11-2 run by the Blue Jays. Bryn Mawr held JHU to only one basket over the reaming six minutes of the first-half. Hopkins took an 18-15 lead into the locker room.

The second-half was all Hopkins as they outscored Bryn Mawr 31-20 to secure the eleventh win of the season.

Leading the Owls was senior Driscoll with her 12 points. Emilie Naccarato netted nine as Jessica Allen tallied six. Shanika Bridges-King and Caroline Heffernan grabbed nine rebounds each as Allen snagged eight.

Driscoll ends her four-year stint with534 points (6.6 ppg), 204 rebounds, 113 assists, and two blocks. The Owls other senior, Stephanie Wujcik, started playing basketball this year and ended her career with 13 games played, seven rebounds, and two assists. Bryn Mawr wishes the best to both of their seniors in the future.

For Hopkins, Andrea Dodrill netted a team-high 10 points and 11 rebounds. Kristen Phillips knocked in nine points as well as grabbing eight boards. Monica Mitchell ended the night with eight rebounds.

The Owls end their season 5-20 overall and 2-16 in the Centennial.
