Baltimore, Md. – Senior Ashley Dawkins’ goal at 11:06 on a penalty stroke proved be the difference as Bryn Mawr topped the Blazers 1-0 in non-conference action.
Dawkins, netted her first goal of the season on a penalty stroke to lift the Owls to a 1-0 win over Hood College Friday afternoon in Baltimore.
Although the Blazers outshot the Owls 20-11 and led in penalty corners 12-3, Bryn Mawr played strong while holding on to their 1-0 lead.
The Owls are 1-1 on the season and will do battle with Arcadia on Sunday, September 9, at 2:00 p.m. on Shillingford Field.
