HOCKEY FALLS TO ARCADIA 2-0 IN NON-CONFERENCE ACTION

Bryn Mawr, Pa. – Arcadia found the back of the net four minutes into the game before adding an insurance goal late in the first as they rolled to a 2-0 victory on Shillingford Field.

Keepers Katherine Zaylor and Catilin Evans split time in the cage with Zaylor earning the start. Combined they stopped 11 shots from the Knights, 5 and 6, respectively.

Bryn Mawr tried to mount a comeback in the second half as they spent most of the time on the attack, but were unable to put anything in the cage.

Arcadia outshot the Owls 14-9 and held a commanding 9-4 lead in penalty corners.

Bryn Mawr will have the week off as they prepare for the Seven Sisters Championships hosted by Mt. Holyoke, September 14-16. Their opponent in the opening round will be Smith, game time is set for 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
