HEFFERNAN AND ALEXANDER NAMED TO SEVEN SISTERS ALL-CLASSIC TEAM

South Hadley, Mass. – Sophomore Caroline Heffernan and freshman Laura Alexander were named 2007 Seven Sisters Field Hockey Classic All-Classic Team.

Heffernan scored the Owls game-winning goal against Smith to earn the double overtime 1-0 victory Saturday night. Alexander, a defender, played solid defense and had two huge defensive saves for the Owls, one in the victory over Smith and the other coming against Mount Holyoke.
