ALEXANDER NETS OWLS LONE GOAL AGAINST MUHLENBERG

Bryn Mawr, Pa. – Freshman Laura Alexander scored her first goal of the season at 28:40 as Bryn Mawr fell to visiting Muhlenberg 10-1 in Centennial Conference action.

Sophomore Caroline Heffernan got her first assist on the season on Alexander's goal. In the cage for the Owls, sophomore Caitlin Evans posted 17 saves as freshman back-up goalie Kate Zaylor made 7 in the final twelve minutes of the game.

Leading Muhlenberg was Kelly Shetron and Kristen Sabia with two goals while Shetron added two assists. Jillian Duffy registered three assists.

The Mules outshot the Owls 43-2 and had a commanding 19-1 advantage in penalty corners.

Bryn Mawr is now 2-7 overall and 0-5 in the Centennial as Muhlenberg stays unbeaten in the conference at 4-0 and 8-3 on the season. The Owls return to action on Saturday as they host Gettysburg College at 1:00 p.m.
