Bryn Mawr, Pa. – While shooting the upcoming movie, Tenure, Luke Wilson stopped to throw the lacrosse ball around with the lax team Monday afternoon.
Tenure, a movie about a college professor that competes for tenure with a hot-shot female colleague (www.imdb.com), is being partially shot on Bryn Mawr's campus.
After shooting a scene above the lacrosse field at Cambrian Row, Wilson took time out of his schedule to learn how to throw a lacrosse ball and pose with the team for a picture. Wilson also wished the team best of luck for tonight's Centennial Conference road game with rival Swarthmore. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. at Clothier Field.
Wilson has stared in movies such as Legally Blonde, Old School, Charlie's Angels, Anchorman, Idiocracy, and 3:10 to Yuma. Also staring in Tenure is David Koechner (The Comebacks, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, and Balls of Fury), Gretchen Mol (3:10 to Yuma), and Andrew Daly (SNL and Semi-Pro).
Expected release date for Tenure is sometime in 2009 (www.imdb.com).
