Head Coach: Erin DeMarco
Erin DeMarco begins her fourth season at Bryn Mawr College. In her first year at Bryn Mawr, the team won the Bryn Mawr Invitational Tournament, and overall, saw statistical improvements in all aspects of team play. During the 2008 season, the Owls had their most competitive results in the Centennial Conference during her tenure. Prior to coming to Bryn Mawr, DeMarco served as head coach at SUNY-Oswego during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. During her time at Oswego, she led the Lakers' soccer program back to the SUNYAC conference playoffs for the first time in three years. DeMarco's 2005 soccer team accomplished a 7-9 record despite only having one NSCAA All-Region player and nine freshmen. During her first year at Oswego State, the Lakers defeated national-power SUNY-Cortland for the first time in school history.
In addition to her coaching duties at Bryn Mawr, DeMarco is a faculty member in the department teaching “Project Fitness” in Physical Education. She also serves the department as Club Sport Coordinator, and manages the Equipment Room and facility reservations. While at Oswego State, DeMarco also served as the advisor for the athletic program's Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and as the facilitator for Oswego's Student-Athlete Mentors.
Prior to arriving at Oswego, DeMarco served as the interim head coach at Vassar College (N.Y.) for the 2003 season. She also was an assistant coach for the men's lacrosse program and an athletic administrative intern at Vassar from 2002-2003.
DeMarco was a standout soccer player at her alma mater, Ithaca College (N.Y.), where she also served as a graduate assistant coach. Before earning a bachelor's degree in health and physical education (2001) and a master's degree in exercise and sport sciences (2002) from Ithaca, DeMarco left a lasting impression on the Bombers' athletic program. She competed in the NCAA Division III Tournament all four years of her career, and was named a three-time NSCAA All-American, as well as a two-time NSCAA Academic All-American. After an impressive senior season at Ithaca, DeMarco earned Empire 8 Conference Player of the Year accolades. During the summer of 2004, DeMarco played in the semi-pro WPSL as a member of the Rochester Reign. In the fall of 2007, DeMarco was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at her alma mater, Shaker High School.
In addition to her college coaching experience, DeMarco holds both NSCAA National and Advanced National Diplomas and an USSF "B" License. She has also worked with the Region I Olympic Development Program (ODP) since 2004 at the state and regional levels in the various capacities of the program.
Assistant Coach: Devon Landgraff
Entering his sixth season as an assistant coach with the Bryn Mawr soccer team, Devon Landgraff has accumulated an extensive coaching background thus far in his career.
Before coming to Bryn Mawr, Landgraff served as the head coach for girl's soccer and boy's basketball for the Alexander Central School District in New York from 2001-2004. A physical education teacher at Alexander, Landgraff also helmed the girl's softball team from 2002-2004.
Landgraff coached Alexander's soccer team to two county championships and he was voted the Alexander High School Coach of the Year from 2001-2003. While in Alexander, Landgraff also served as the vice president and coach for the Alexander Soccer Club.
Before earning a bachelor's of science in physical education teacher certification from SUNY-Brockport in 2000, Landgraff played three years of varsity soccer for the Golden Eagles. Landgraff completed his Masters in Education from Wilkes University in the spring of 2007.
In addition to his coaching duties at Bryn Mawr, Landgraff also teaches K-3 physical education in the Colonial School District, and is an assistant girls’ varsity basketball coach at Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School.
