Lincoln University, Pa. – Junior Midfielder Patricia LeBron netted two goals as Bryn Mawr ended a five game winless streak on the road Sunday afternoon. Senior co-captain Wallis Romzek got the Owls on the board first at 14:04 as she took a pass from Laura Costanzo for her team leading fourth goal of the season. Lincoln tied the game less than two minutes later as Shaynita Blanchard found the back of the net at 15:41. Before the end of the first half, LeBron picked up her first goal of the game at 42:35, freshman Emily Wiseman received an assist on the play.
The second half was all Bryn Mawr as they outshot Lincoln 16-0 en route to four goals. Freshman Hope Fillingim , sophomore Akua Nyame-Mensah , and sophomore Stephanie Vrakas each registered goals at 79:33, 82:35, and 85:46, respectively. LeBron added her final goal of the game at 87:13 as she is tied for third place on the team with 2 goals.
Bryn Mawr outshot the Lions 34-2 and held a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks for the day.
The Owls are now 4-6-1 on the season as the Lions fall to 0-9-3. Bryn Mawr returns to action on Saturday, October 5, as they host conference rival Swarthmore, game time is set for 1:00 p.m. -Box Score-
