PULLION AND SIMONS COMBINE FOR 12 SAVES AGAINST MUHLENBERG

Bryn Mawr, Pa. – Goalies Collette Pullion and Sarah Simons combined for 12 saves as soccer fell to visiting Muhlenberg College in conference action Wednesday afternoon.

Hope Fillingim led the offensive charge with two shots on the day. Wallis Romzek , Zoe Fuller-Young , Jillian Forde , Sydni Meyer , and Patricia LeBron recorded one shot each in the game.

Leading the Mules was Valerie Patriarca with a hat-trick; all three goals came within a two minute span. Goalie Kate Morrissey posted 5 saves.

Muhlenberg outshot Bryn Mawr 27-7 and held an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks.

The loss drops the Owls to 4-8-1 overall and 0-6 in conference action as the Mules improve to 7-5-1 and 4-2-1 in the Centennial. Bryn Mawr returns to action on Saturday, October 20, as they travel to Baltimore to take on Johns Hopkins. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
