MATTESON NAMED SECOND TEAM ALL-CENTENNIAL

Lancaster, Pa. – Freshman defender, Sarah Matteson, was recently named to the Centennial All-Conference Second Team, as voted by member institutions head coaches.

Matteson started all 16 games that she played in for the Owls while totaling one goal on three shots (.333%) and one assist. Her lone goal of the season came during a 7-1 victory over Lincoln University on September 2, in the Bryn Mawr Invitational. Her assist came on a Jillian Forde goal in the 51st minute against Philadelphia Biblical on September 13.

Matteson, an undeclared major from Timonium Maryland, is the 19 th Owl to earn All-Conference accolades since the conference was formed in 1993. She joins the ranks of Buckey Walker (1994) and Mia Theroux (2005) as the only freshman to earn All-CC honors.
