Nikki Whitlock
Nikki Whitlock, a former Division I, full scholarship standout at The George Washington University comes to Bryn Mawr following a career in the aerospace industry. While at GWU, Whitlock was a four-year letter winner and co-captained the team in her junior and senior year. Her specialties were distance and butterfly. Over several years, Ms. Whitlock has coached several summer league swim teams and competitive age group programs.
Entering her second season at Bryn Mawr, Coach Whitlock looks forward to the newcomers on the team who will add more depth to the returning squad. “We have a determined team that is focused on personal improvement goals and breaking team records along with increasing our competitiveness in the Centennial Conference.”
In May 2007, Ms. Whitlock completed her masters in Sport and Athletic Administration at West Chester University in PA where she was the graduate assistant for the MSA Program Director.
Stacy Claxton, a 2005 Bryn Mawr graduate, is in her third year on the Bryn Mawr swim team's coaching staff after four extremely successful years swimming for the Owls. Throughout her swimming career at Bryn Mawr, Stacy set several school relay and individual records, including the record in the 200 Butterfly. She also set numerous school all-time top ten times. Ms. Claxton is currently heading up the masters swimming program on campus.
Ms. Claxton made the All-Seven Sisters team and had top eight and top sixteen finishes at conference championships. In 2005, she was nominated to the Academic All-District II College Women's At-Large First Team in ESPN The Magazine and was Bryn Mawr's 2005 NCAA Woman of the Year nominee. After her senior year, Claxton was voted as the team MVP, made Centennial Conference Honor Roll and was named a Seven Sisters Scholar Athlete.
Outside of the athletic realm, Stacy graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's of Arts in Mathematics and Spanish.

Kelly Landman
Kelly is a 2007 graduate of Franklin and Marshall College. She is currently a graduate student here at Bryn Mawr in the Clinical Developmental Psychology Program headed for her PhD. She was a competitive swimmer for 18 years, and finished her career with multiple Centennial Conference titles, 6 Conference records, All-American Honors, and Academic All-American Honors. Her highest placing was in 2007, finishing 4th at NCAAs in the 200 Butterfly. Ms. Landman has coached several summer swim teams, competitive swim camps, and lessons in all age groups.
Gigi Naftzger
Gigi Naftzger swam the distance freestyle events for Mt. Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA while earning her degree in a self designed major, The Philosophy of Performance Studies. She was the Head Men's and Women's Swimming Coach at Western New England College in Springfield, Ma and the Assistant Coach for the Men's and Women's Swimming Teams at Goucher College in Baltimore Maryland. In addition to coaching at the college level Ms. Naftzger has coached age group and masters swimming.
Ms. Naftzger counts her experience working for Musicorda, a chamber music festival and summer school among her most valuable professional experiences. While working for Musicorda Ms. Naftzger was awarded a Professional Development grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Ms. Naftzger has been a practicing painter since being a student at Mount Holyoke. While living in Baltimore she attended the Maryland Institute College of Art and is currently earning her MFA at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Ms. Naftzger is very excited to once again be participating in Seven Sisters Swimming.
