Carlisle, Pa. – Freshman Sarah Blatchly entered the top ten list in the 500 (5:32.53) and 200 (2:05.69) Free this past weekend on the road at Dickinson College. The Red Devils defeated the Owls 165-66.
In addition to Blatchly, Cea Weaver improved her time in the 1,000 Free to 11:16.03, keeping her in sixth place on the top ten list. Weaver won the 1,000 Free in addition to her second place finish in the 100 Free (58.15).
Lauren Earle and Lindsey Warren-Shriner finished second in the 200 Back and 200 Individual Medley, respectively.
Meredith Sisson (200 Fly, 2:36.15), Beth Low (50 Free, 26.72 and 100 Fly, 1:09.10), and Greta Bednarczyk (200 Breast, 2:59.80) all finished third in their respective races. The 400 Free Relay of Weaver, Blactchly, Sisson, and Warren-Shriner also placed third in the time of 4:03.93
The Owls fall to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in Centennial Conference. Bryn Mawr will return to the pool on Tuesday, Nov. 27, as they host Arcadia. The meet is set for a 6:00 p.m. start.
