Bryn Mawr, Pa. – Six different Owls won their respective races while Bryn Mawr won both relays as they defeated the Knights 107-82 in non-conference action Tuesday evening.
Sarah Blatchly (1,000 Free), Cea Weaver (200 and 500 Free), Elizabeth Ver Hoeve (50 Free), Lindsey Warren-Shriner (200 IM), Meredith Sisson (100 Fly), and Beth Low (100 Free) all took home top honors in their respective races in their home opener.
The relay of Earle, Low, Greta Bednarczyk, and Sara Marlow won the 200 Individual Medley in the time of 2:06.08, three seconds faster than Arcadia’s “A” team. In the 200 Free Relay, Marlow, Blacthly, Weaver, and Teresa Palasits, won the race, but due to the mercy rule, they had to swim exhibition.
The Owls took first place in 7 of the 9 events of the meet. For the last two events, 100 Breast and 200 Free Relay, Bryn Mawr swam exhibition.
The Owls are now 1-4 on the season and will host Washington College Saturday, December 1, in Schwartz Natatorium. The meet will start at 1:00 p.m.
