Bryn Mawr, Pa. – Sophomore Lindsey Warren-Shriner cracked the top ten list for the 1,000 Free as she swam into 8th place with a time of 11:32.01. Bryn Mawr fell to visiting Washington (Md.) College 142-55 in Centennial Conference action.
In the 1,000 Free, Warren-Shriner finished in second edging out Anna Green of Washington by three-tenths of a second. In the 200 Free, Cea Weaver came in second place as Sarah Blacthly touched out in third with in 2:05.06 and 2:07.03, respectively.
Baltchly also went on to finish second in the 100 Free with a time of 59.33 as Weaver took home silver in the 500 Free. Lauren Earle took second place honors in the 100 Back with a time of 1:10.19.
Earle (100 Fly, 1:6.72), Beth Low (200 IM, 2:28.97), and Sara Marlow (50 Free, 29.65) all took home bronze medals in their respective events.
The Owls are now 1-5 overall and 0-3 in conference action. Bryn Mawr returns to the pool on January 23, 2008, as they travel down Route 30 to Cabrini. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m.
