Lancaster, Pa. – The Owls complete the first sessions of prelims at the 2008 Centennial Conference Swimming Championships.
Cea Weaver got Bryn Mawr off to a good start as she touched out in 5:18 of the 500 Free. Her time set a new personal best in the event by four seconds. Sarah Blatchly and Lindsey Warren-Shriner finished the same race in 5:34 and 5:37, respectively.
In the 200 IM, Lauren Forster had a season best time of 2:27, six seconds faster than the mark she set earlier this semester. Greta Bednarczyk set a personal best time of 2:39 as Katia Belova swam a 2:46.
Sara Marlow finished the 50 Free with a time of 28.72 while EB Ver Hoeve broke the 30-second mark for the first time of the year with a 28.94. Io Good touched out in the 50 Free with a personal best time of 33.34.
In the finals, Weaver finished in eighth place with a time of 5:20.36.
The Owls return to the water Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. for session3 prelims.
