Bryn Mawr, Pa. – Bryn Mawr's junior varsity team defeated Rosemont's varsity 6-3 Wednesday afternoon on their home court.
The Owls jumped out to a 2-1 lead following doubles as #2 Marianne Leung and Chelsea Miller won 8-4 and #3 Raina Chauhan and Stephanie Ezeoba blanked Veliz and Joroff 8-0.
In singles, Chauhan (#5) and Amy Rives (#6) topped their opponents in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. Leung defeated Williams 6-4, 6-3 at #3 while Ezeoba clinched the match for the Owls with a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Occhiprinti in the fourth spot.
Bryn Mawr's JV is 1-0 on the fall season and will host Haverford's JV squad on Tuesday, October 2, at 4:00 p.m. -003-
