TENNIS SPLITS ON FINAL DAY OF SEVEN SISTERS ACTION

Wellesley, Mass. – The Bryn Mawr College tennis team split two games on the final day of Seven Sisters action. The Owls defeated Mt. Holyoke 3-2 but fell to Vassar 0-5.

In the final match of the tournament, the black and yellow topped Mount Holyoke 3-2, with all single players leaving victorious. Co-captain Karen Ginsburg defeated Marifan 5-7, 6-3, 6-3 as Marie Sager bested Scordilis 7-6(7-4), 6-4. At number three singles, April Lee won her match in straight sets 6-1, 6-1 over Gresko.

Sager was the Owls lone multi-match winner as she defeated Chu of Smith 7-5, 6-3 in Saturday action.

Bryn Mawr moves to 3-9 on the season. The Owls return to action on Wednesday, April 2, as they host the Shorewomen of Washington College at 3:30 p.m.
