Haverford, Pa. – The Bryn Mawr College track and field team got their final tune-up before next weekend’s conference championships hosted by Ursinus College.
At the annual Paul Keogh Invite hosted by Haverford College this past weekend, junior Katie Weng and sophomore Akua Nyame-Mensah got the final preparations they needed to repeat as All-Centennial selections. Weng ran well in the mile and 800 as Nyame-Mensah ran her first 400 of the season and crossed the finish line with an excellent 1:00.98.
In the 55 meter, Marge Cheng, April Stewart, Christine Lee, and Leah Weightman all set personal bests.
The Owls travel to Ursinus next weekend as they will participate in the 2007 Centennial Conference championships.
