VOLLEYBALL GOES 3-0 AT HOME QUAD MATCH

Bryn Mawr, Pa. – Bryn Mawr went 3-0 in Schwartz Gymnasium Saturday afternoon with wins over Immaculata, PSU-Berks, and Valley Forge Christian.

In the opening match against Immaculata, junior Julia Harris tallied 13 kills while sophomore Trisha Urena slammed home 6 kills (.714 hitting percentage) and stuffed 3 Mighty Macs hits. Junior Elizabeth Sinclair and first-year Ashton Shaffer dug 15 shots each.

In the second match with Penn State Berks, junior Katie Kronbergs had 11 kills and picked up 5 service aces. Shaffer provided the Owls with 21 digs.

The last match with Valley Forge Christian Kronbergs picked up 10 kills as Harris chipped in 9 kills and 3 blocks. Urena added 7 kills and 5 blocks as the Owls rolled to a 3-0 win over the Patriots.

Bryn Mawr returns to action on Tuesday, September 11, as they host Delaware Valley at 7:00 p.m. in Schwartz Gymnasium.
