VOLLEYBALL STAYS PERFECT WITH WIN OVER DELAWARE VALLEY

Bryn Mawr, Pa. – Bryn Mawr improved their record to 6-0 on the season as the Owls sneaked by the Aggies 3-2 in non-conference action Tuesday night.

Bryn Mawr jumped to an early lead with a 30-25 win before Delaware Valley evened up the score with a 25-30 victory in the second game. The Owls went on to win the third match 30-19 while the Aggies took game four, 20-30. In the fifth and deciding game, the owls took an early lead and ran the table as they won 15-9, staying unbeaten when they open up conference action Thursday night.

Bryn Mawr was led by junior Julia Harris who had 16 kills, 5 blocks, and 6 aces on the evening. Freshman libero Ashton Shaffer had 20 digs while junior Elizabeth Sinclair dug 19.

Bryn Mawr moves to 6-0 as Delaware Valley falls to 4-1 on the season. The Owls return to action Thursday night as they host Gettysburg in their conference opener. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
