Bryn Mawr, Pa. – Gettysburg College handed Bryn Mawr their first loss of the season 3-0 in both teams Centennial Conference opener Thursday night in Schwartz Gymnasium.
Leading the Owls was junir Julia Harris who tallied 8 kills, 3 digs, and 1 block assist. Lending Harris their helping hands was junior Elizabeth Sinclair (4 kills, 10 digs) and sophomore Kathryn Solook (8 digs).
Freshman Emma Wisniewski-Barker chipped in 15 assists and three digs.
The loss drops the Owls to 6-1 overall and 0-1 in conference play while the Bullets improve to 7-2 (1-0 in Centennial action). Bryn Mawr returns to action Saturday as they travel down the road to Rosemont for a tri-match. Game time is scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. start.
