VOLLEYBALL BACK ON WINNING TRACK WITH TWO WINS AT ROSEMONT TRI-MATCH

Rosemont, Pa. – Bryn Mawr added two notches in the win column Saturday afternoon by sweeping Rutgers-Camden and Rosemont in straight sets on the road at Rosemont.

In the first match against Rutgers-Camden, the Owls won in straight sets 30-14, 30-13, 30-14, as everyone on the team contributed to the win. As a team, Bryn Mawr tallied 27 kills and 20 service aces. Leading the Owls in the kill column was junior Julia Harris and senior Katie Kronbergs who had 8 and 7 kills, respectively. Leading the Owls in service aces was junior Christina Avgerinos with five while Kronbergs and sophomore Katie Solook each had 4.

In the second game of the twin bill with host Rosemont, Bryn Mawr topped the Ramblers 30-13, 30-23, 30-22, with another great team performance. The Owls tallied 30 team kills and 16 aces. Pacing the Owls this time was junior Elizabeth Sinclair with 12 kills while Kronbergs added 9. Freshman libero Ashton Shaffer contributed 8 aces. Sophomore Emma Wisniewski-Barker had 47 assists on the day.

Bryn Mawr returns to action on Thursday, September 20 as they host Franklin and Marshall in Centennial Conference action. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
