Carlisle, Pa. – The Owls fell to host Dickinson College 3-0 (12-30, 30-32, 22-30) before redeeming themselves with a 3-2 win over Gwynedd Mercy (30-27, 30-23, 26-30, 22-30, 16-14).
In the lost to Dickinson, junior Julia Harris had 13 kills while classmate Elizabeth Sinclair totaled 19 digs. Emma Wisniewski-Barker had 20 assist and 16 digs while freshman Ashton Shaffer recorded 12 digs.
In the second game against Gwynedd Mercy, Harris once again led the Owls with 22 kills and 11 digs while Sinclair had 12 kills and 27 digs. Wisniewski-Barker added 39 assists and 20 digs as Shaffer dug 19 Griffins hits.
The Owls are now 8-12 overall and 0-7 in conference play. Bryn Mawr will host Muhlenberg Wednesday night in their final game of the season in Schwartz Gymnasium; game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
