Jamie Higgins, ’98, Vice President, Goldman Sachs
Jamie Fiore Higgins graduated from Bryn Mawr with a major in mathematics in 1998. Following graduation, she started at Goldman Sachs as an analyst in Global Securities Services in the Securities Division. She became an Associate in 2001 and a Vice President in 2004. She currently manages the US Institutional Supply team responsible for Goldman's major lending institutions covering both US and International securities.
Meera Gilbert, ’90, Principal, Meera Gilbert & Associates, LLC
Principal, Meera Gilbert & Assoc., LLC, a recruiting firm for the financial services industry. Meera Gilbert earned her Bachelor’s degree in 1990 from Bryn Mawr, where she studied Psychology and Growth and Structure of Cities. After spending several years as Director of Recruiting for Susquehanna Investment, she founded Meera Gilbert & Associates, a recruiting firm for the financial services industry.
Nancy Rooney, ’92, Managing Director, JP Morgan
Nancy Rooney is a Managing Director and Head of the Northeast Investment business for JP Morgan Private Wealth Management. She is responsible for overseeing more than $11 billion in AUM and $29 billion AUS and 100 investment professionals focused exclusively on serving private clients. She is a member of the Investment Leadership Team and the Investment Risk Committee.
Before leading the effort in the Northeast, Ms. Rooney helped to build and develop J.P. Morgan Private Bank’s Investment Business in New York City. She served on the Private Bank’s Advisory Council, Global Investment Leadership Team and Fiduciary Oversight Committee. Additionally, she served on the firm’s Women’s Leadership Forum. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 1996, she worked in the Private Client Group at Goldman Sachs in New York focusing on high net worth individuals and foundations. She then moved to Goldman Sachs Asset Management in Zürich, Switzerland to help launch their Private Bank.
Ms. Rooney serves on the Board of Directors of the Lymphoma Foundation and the finance committee of the Canterbury School. She has contributed to CNN as well as The New York Times.
Carol Pepper, ’84, CEO & Founder, Pepper International, LLC
Carol Pepper is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pepper International LLC, a family office located in New York City. Carol is a member of Forbes Intelligent Investing team and writes columns for www.forbes.com. In November 2009, Barron’s named Pepper International as one of the top family offices in the United States. In 2008, Pepper International LLC was awarded the Growth Leadership Award by the Family Wealth Alliance (www.fwalliance.com). Carol was named a 2007 Rising Star in Wealth Management by Institutional Investor News. Carol acts as an advisor to families of wealth and oversees the investment management, estate and tax planning, philanthropy and concierge needs of her clients. The firm has an expertise in Socially Responsible Investing and works with families who would like to have a strong focus on integrating their values into their investments and their philanthropy. As a principal at Morgan Stanley, she was instrumental in creating a web-based virtual family office prototype. Carol graduated cum laude from Bryn Mawr College in 1984 with a BA in philosophy and a minor in Russian language. She obtained an MBA in entrepreneurial studies from Columbia University Business School in 1989. She published her first novel, Beyond Blood, a wealth management thriller, in 2009.
Dana Niblack, ’93, Managing Director, Perella Weinberg Partners
Dana Niblack is a Managing Director responsible for Asset Management Client Services at Perella Weinberg Partners. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners, Ms. Niblack was the Director of Investor Relations for Citco (Canada) Inc. where she was responsible for building the office’s investor services department. Ms. Niblack held the same role at Citco’s New York office from 2002 – 2004. Prior to joining Citco, Ms. Niblack spent three years in client service at Morgan Stanley Prime Brokerage. Previously, Ms. Niblack held operational roles at Oaktree Capital Management working with the emerging markets hedge funds product (formerly Moon Capital) and for the Global Small Company and Asian Equity products at Scudder, Stevens and Clark. Ms. Niblack serves on the President's Advisory Council of Bryn Mawr College and the Hedge Funds for Habitat-NYC Steering Committee. Ms. Niblack received an A.B. in Mathematics from Bryn Mawr College.
