Kicking Off the 2015-16 Academic Year!
Convocation provides an occasion to welcome new members of the community, honor the senior class, and celebrate the distinctive character of the students, education, and community that make up Bryn Mawr. This year at Convocation President Cassidy will announce the name of the “new Perry” and dedicate the building immediately following the ceremony. The two new residence halls at the corner of Yarrow St. and North Merion Avenue are the College's first new residential spaces in over 40 years. There will be a party outside the new halls after Convocation and those who are interested will have an opportunity to go on brief student-led tours of the buildings.Tour organizers remind everyone to please be respectful of the residents’ space and privacy while touring the buildings. Convocation begins at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, August 31 in Goodhart Hall.
