For the twelve-month period beginning September 1, 2007, each full-time graduate student in good standing in our program is receiving a total stipend of at least $18,000 along with tuition coverage, which is worth $20,000, and a $2,000 subsidy toward health insurance coverage. Continuing support in subsequent years is provided contingent on good progress toward a degree and, in the case of teaching assistantships, adequate performance in the instructional laboratory.
