Dr. Christian will discuss the role of the physician in evaluating and caring for physically and sexually abused children from the identification and treatment of injuries to the role of advocacy. The medical, psychosocial, and legal considerations implicit in dealing with child abuse will be examined within the context of a multidisciplinary team that includes social workers.
Two continuing education credits associated to this lecture. CEU forms will be made available at the registration table and a ceu processing fee of $10.00 collected the evening of the event.
