Goren practices family law, employment, real estate, wills and mediation law. As custody conciliator for Family Court in Montgomery County, it is her job to meet with parents when one or both have filed a legal pleading regarding custody of a child or children. Over the last 2 years, she has spoken with many children whose parents have unresolved issues about custody. She has learned a great deal from the children who have shared their experiences with her, one of which is when parents are at war, their children are the casualties.
Sara graduated cum laude from Temple Law School and earned a Masters in Social Work from Hunter College in New York City. Sara is an Advanced Practitioner with the Association for Conflict Resolution and a member of the Editorial Board of the Legal Intelligencer.
Sara is a former Bar Examiner for the Pennsylvania Board of Law Examiners, a member of the PBA, MBA, Mediation Subcommittee of the Montgomery Bar Family Law Section, Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas Mediation Advisory Panel and former Press Secretary for Pennsylvania Mothers Against Drunk Drivers.
Perhaps most importantly, Sara is a wife, mother and grandmother and was at Woodstock.
