Research and experience indicate that institutions serving children and youth have been minimally responsive to the needs of LGBTQQIA youth. This presentation explores ways to build responsive systems of care in order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our communities and the individuals who comprise them.
Within this socio-historic context, this seminar will focus on addressing the needs of LGBTQQIA youth and their families through the lens of cultural and linguistic competence.
