Sam Olshin, AIA

Sam Olshin, AIA, is a principal in Atkin Olshin Lawson-Bell Architects of Philadelphia. The twenty-person firm specializes in a wide variety of institutional projects including university, museum, and religious commissions. Clients include the University of Pennsylvania, Dartmouth College, the Rhode Island School of Design, Duke University, the Pennsylvania State University, and Trinity Episcopal Church, Princeton. Mr. Olshin received a BA and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He is past recipient of the E. Lewis Dales Travelling Fellowship, the Arthur Spayd Brooke Bronze Medal, and the Paul Lewis Phillipe Cret Thesis Medal. He is the recipient of the 1998 Philadelphia Chapter AIA Young Architect Award, and has served as architectural critic at Temple University, Drexel University, Philadelphia University, and the University of Pennsylvania. Since 1989, Mr. Olshin has served as an Instructor for Introduction to Architectural Design at Bryn Mawr College.
