GROWTH & STRUCTURE OF CITIES: DESIGN at BRYN MAWR
For students interested in pursuing careers in Architecture,
Urban and Regional Planning, Preservation, Landscape and Environmental Design or Interiors the Cities Program offers a unique preparatory major. This site focuses on Architectural Design.
Students interested in architectural and
urban design should take the Design Studio courses (226 & 228) in addition to the required Cities courses. They should select electives in architectural history and planning in order to gain a broad exposure to architecture through time and across cultural traditions. Additional courses in Physics and Calculus may be taken to meet requirements of many graduate programs in architecture. Theses may also be planned to incorporate design projects.
