Scope of Project:
The purpose of this project is to expand on the research done on the architecture firm of Keen & Mead by the Athenaeum of Philadelphia for its Philadelphia Architects and Buildings (PAB) project. Very little research exists on locations of some Keen & Mead buildings and very few historical photographs have been collected into a single document. Therefore our research focused on the following objectives:

Overbrook Farms
This neighborhood is a National Historic District. Documentation on the district can be found here. Keen & Mead worked with developers Wendell & Smith in this popular suburb of Philadelphia from 1893-1909.
